Package: gnome-panel Version: 2.28.0-3+b1 Severity: normal It happens to me too to have a gnome-panel that doesn't hide anymore. Re-setting the 'auto-hide' setting doesn't help.
What does help, is `killall gnome-panel'. Not very elegant, but may save some frustration.
