Package: quake2
Version: 1:0.3-1.1
Severity: wishlist

Could you perhaps tell users in README.Debian how the gamma level can be
changed?
The easiest way would be in the ~/.quake2/baseq2/config.cfg file, and change
the "set vid_gamma" value. I found
"0.700000" to be perfect for me (and my hardware, a S3Savage).
Please consider doing this, because the default level, while perhaps good for
multiplayer, where it makes it easier to spot others in the dark,
ruins a bit
of the atmosphere of the game, in my opinion.
