When I click on a HTTP URL in Org-mode, the message "No usable browser
found" is displayed. Until a few days ago, clicking on HTTP URLs
started Iceweasel.

Perhaps this problem stems from Debian's Iceweasel package having
recently eliminated /etc/alternatives/mozilla [1].

To work around this, I have added the following to my .emacs file:
(custom-set-variables
 '(browse-url-browser-function (quote browse-url-generic))
 '(browse-url-generic-program "x-www-browser"))
