Package: phpmyadmin Version: 4:3.3.2-2 Severity: normal I just ran into a weird problem with the latest phpmyadmin update. I didn't have mysqld running initially, so I got an error message first. After that debconf presented options to retry and to abort. I started the daemon, and then retried.
Now I get the following error: | mysqldump: Got error: 1049: Unknown database 'phpmyadmin' when |selecting the database | |Fortunately, |/var/cache/dbconfig-common/backups/phpmyadmin_4:3.3.2-1.mysql holds |backup of the database, made just before the upgrade. That's strange. The backup database file is empty, by the way. So I figured I'll abort debconf, and just re-install phpmyadmin manually. But when I hit abort, I receieve exactly the same error message again.
