Package: python-keybinder Version: 0.1.0 Severity: important
python-keybinder 0.1.1 fixes this bug. Due to a bug in GTK+, the Super modifier is incorrectly bound (causing Super+Space to grab the modifierless space press, with great user confusion/disruption of usability following). Luca, I'm reporting this bug to stop the buggy version from transitioning to testing. The new version is mostly negative for users, almost all users are better off with 0.0.4 than this version. Of course, 0.1.1 (hopefully) fixes it all. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (800, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: powerpc (ppc) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-trunk-powerpc Locale: LANG=sv_SE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=sv_SE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages python-keybinder depends on: ii libatk1.0-0 1.29.92-1 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.10.2-6 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libcairo2 1.8.8-2 The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra ii libfontconfig1 2.8.0-2+b1 generic font configuration library ii libfreetype6 2.3.11-1 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libglib2.0-0 2.24.0-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-0 2.20.0-2 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libpango1.0-0 1.26.2-1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libx11-6 2:1.3.2-1 X11 client-side library ii libxext6 2:1.1.1-2 X11 miscellaneous extension librar ii libxrender1 1:0.9.5-1 X Rendering Extension client libra ii python 2.5.4-9 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-gtk2 2.16.0-2 Python bindings for the GTK+ widge ii python-support 1.0.6 automated rebuilding support for P python-keybinder recommends no packages. python-keybinder suggests no packages. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
