Package: consolekit Version: 0.4.1-4 Severity: normal When starting icewesel I get the following error :
"GConf Error: Failed to contact configuration server; some possible causes are that you need to enable TCP/IP networking for ORBit, or you have stale NFS locks due to a system crash. See http://projects.gnome.org/gconf/ for information. (Details - 1: Failed to get connection to session: Failed to connect to socket /tmp/dbus-bZR53S1Gdt: Connection refused)" The /tmp/dbus-bZR53S1Gdt file does not exist. I did nothing to configure either ORBit, gconf or other gnome stuff that I do not use. It was tracked in 578479 as a bogus DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS environment variable. Looking in the process tree, this variable appears in .xsession The script itself does not add the variable, this it must be ck-launch-session which starts it. As for orbit, gconf, etc. I kept all default configuration for dbus, which I would not dare to touch. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-2-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages consolekit depends on: ii dbus 1.2.20-2 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libc6 2.10.2-6 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libck-connector0 0.4.1-4 ConsoleKit libraries ii libdbus-1-3 1.2.20-2 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libdbus-glib-1-2 0.84-1 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libglib2.0-0 2.22.4-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libpolkit-gobject-1-0 0.96-1 PolicyKit Authorization API ii libx11-6 2:1.3.3-2 X11 client-side library ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.4.dfsg-3 compression library - runtime Versions of packages consolekit recommends: pn libpam-ck-connector <none> (no description available) consolekit suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
