Dear all,
First of all, I hope that this is the correct way of replying.
Did not find a "reply" field on
http://www.mail-archive.com/debian-bugs-dist@lists.debian.org/msg774019.html
to reply publicly.
Copied the ufraw list.
I'm the author of jdlraw.sourceforge.net which uses under the hood exiv2
library and imagemagick.
So I stumbled in this issue as well.
Without knowing the very last details, I suspect there is a problem with
the tag "Exif.Image.ProcessingSoftware" issued by ufraw in
ufraw_exiv2.cc, around line 376.
I got exactly this same problem , until I removed that tag.
(gimp complains about with an 'out of order' message, if I remember
well, and ImageMagick complains about the ImageLength tag).
Could someone confirm. And if one could explain exactly the reason, I
would be even more grateful. I *think* it is an invalid tag for tiffs.
Jos
