Package: beid-tools
Version: 3.5.2.dfsg-7
Severity: important
Tags: sid

Hi

I'm not able to read my beid card since i have upgraded to version 3.5.x

The beid-tool can see my reader, ACR38U

but if i want to read the card i'm getting "Failed to connect to card: Unknown
error"

In /var/log/messages i see something like this when i want to read the card

pcscd: eventhandler.c:443:EHStatusHandlerThread() Error powering up card.
pcscd: winscard.c:368:SCardConnect() Card Not Powered
pcscd: winscard.c:368:SCardConnect() Card Not Powered

Is this problem related to beid-tools or pcscd because i have no idea what the
problem is.
(it would be nice that it can be fixed before taxonweb closes ;-))

Thank you

Stijn
