Package: update-manager-gnome Version: 0.200.3-1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
Hi. Sorry to file this bug, I didn't know what else to do. I had an old squeeze/sid system that I had not been able to use for months. I finally got some usable hardware and installed the disks which brought the system up. When it first came up, update-manager ran fine and I used it to upgrade to the latest packages (which took a long time because I had to run it twice to fully upgrade). Now my system is almost fully upgraded (some packages like cpp-4.1 seem to want to remove other packages so I haven't upgraded those), but now when I try to run update-manager, I get the error in the subject. I'll attach a windowshot when this bug has been fully filed.
