Package: atftpd Version: 0.7.dfsg-9 Hi,
This is a wishlist bug to add support for FIFOs to the base atftpd package. Basically the program opsi (and it's various daemon) use atftpd and they have a specific patch which adds support for atftpd to read what it should do via a FIFO. This means that a computer can be instructed to rebuild, perform a hardware / software inventory or re-install itself mostly remotely. The patch is at (and also attached); http://download.uib.de/atftpd/atftpd-0.7.dfsg-fifo.patch I have read through the patch and, so as FIFOs are not being used, this does not change the functionality of atftpd at all. And the portion that looks for, and uses the FIFO also looks good. This will make opsi a lot easier to install for Debian and derived distributions. Thanks, Anand
