There is a workaround available for it, alternatively you can wait for openjdk-6 to migrate to testing. You can also install sun-java6, but it suffers from #560056. That being said, looking at the preference image you sent me (which I have not forwarded) I would expect it to be able to highlight xml files. I will see what I can do about it. I have not looked at the odt you sent me, since I do not have openoffice installed. > The Editor has correct settings (as I know). > > I'm not so familiar with eclipse, that's why I append the configuration > and the errorlog (2010-04-16 14:20). > There is a stack trace due to a problem in lucene's OSGi metadata. I have created a separate bug for this. Lucene maintainers, lucene-analyzers.jar lacks a Require-Bundle for org.apache.lucene. Without it eclipse will fail to load analyzers if it has not loaded lucene itself first. Have a look at [L1] for how it could look. I can forward the relevant stack-trace if you are interested (though it is just a "ClassNotFoundException" on a class in lucene-core.jar) > Joachim > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > [L1] http://cvs.fedoraproject.org/viewvc/rpms/lucene/devel/lucene-1.9-analysis-OSGi-MANIFEST.MF?revision=1.3&view=markup Please note that: "[1.9.1,2.0.0)" means "1.9.1 <= $version < 2.0.0", so the numbers needs to be bumped to fit lucene2.
