Package: festival Version: 1.96~beta-10 Severity: important I've gotten so tired of (a) maintaining a speech system that won't speak, and (b) being asked every time I boot the system up whether or not I wish to configure the speech software. I dunno whether it's a missing dependency or possibly a missing place to put one -- but ultimately, that does not matter. The sad fact is that the software does not work on ANY of my PCs.
I wish I knew what the problem is -- but, alas, I do not. BTW, I'm wondering where all of my other speakers are -- unfortunately, they don't seem to be listed here, In particular, I would like to know where my British English voices are.
