However, buildds (even those of "main" architectures) are not required to install the latest version of a dependency, if the one they have already installed matches the debian/control line. I fell into that trap with mksh once, which depends on libbsd, where one of the buildds had an older version I had not realised would not work as-is with the by-then current code. bye, //mirabilos -- FWIW, I'm quite impressed with mksh interactively. I thought it was much *much* more bare bones. But it turns out it beats the living hell out of ksh93 in that respect.
