Package: wicd Version: 1.7.0+ds1-2 It seems that this bug persists. I'm running Debian/sid with 2.6.32-3-amd64 kernel.
I fixed the bug myself, by adding < self.dhcp_object.wait() to line 622 in file /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.5/wicd/wnettools.py The change is in the StartDHCP method of the BaseInterface class.
