Regarding #576387 about egd's init start priority, today I discovered the 
-r flag to have egd retry connecting and I am going to try that to see if 
it helps the booting problem. (also I think the default should be to retry 
rather than exit)

The init script priority should still be fixed, but retry probably provides 
a work around for now.
