It certainly sounds familiar, but I don't think the amarok people have figured out the problem. Some people have been seeing this a lot longer than I have. If someone at amarok tells me where to find the code involved in how the random numbers are generated, and how they are used, I will try to make time to see what is happening. Have a great day!
