This is a followup on bug #567773. See that bug for background information. At the moment it is impossible to install kicad without also pulling in the extra-xdg-menus package. This make it impossible to reduce the number of toplevel menus in KDE. To fix this, the Depend on extra-xdg-menus should be changed to either recommends or suggests. I would prefer for it to change to suggests, to avoid extra-xdg-menus being installed by default by apt in Squeeze.
