Upstream git is ported already. I'll probably upload either a git
snapshot or a development release (0.5.x) to experimental
soon.
(Upstream said there will be a new development release any day now.)

*My* opinion is that rygel(-tracker) should _not_ be considered a
blocker for tracker 0.8 in squeeze.
Either upstream makes a new stable release in time for squeeze and we
include that or worst case we can just disable the tracker media
provider in rygel for squeeze.
(Marc-André Lureau needs to agree on this as well though for it to be an
official rygel packaging statement.)
