Same issue, NVidia G220.
Broken from last running version. Config has not changed. Black screen until GDM startsup. During grub loading, a fast message appears in the screen as if does not recognize "terminal" and "gfxterm". Grub menu appears in correct resolution, but after that black screen. Happening on 2.6.32 and 2.6.33. On 2.6.32.8 was working until about (havent reboot for quite some time) month maybe... # # DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE # # It is automatically generated by /usr/sbin/grub-mkconfig using templates # from /etc/grub.d and settings from /etc/default/grub #
