I finally got a crash with a log output. The strange thing is that this time it was an X sever crash instead of "just" the blank screen.
I had about three to four "pm-suspend" (without --auto-quirks). This time the keyboard also did not work any more and the screen went black with hyphen bar in the upper right corner.
