Could you please send a minimal privoxy configuration file, with which you are able to reproduce the issue? You also said that proper lines for IPv6 to work are present in your /etc/hosts file. Are you referring to the stock lines that usually follow the comment "# The following lines are desirable for IPv6 capable hosts" ? Also, could you please try the following command and send the content of the two generated files? $ apt-listbugs -d list apt-listbugs > /tmp/debug.out 2> /tmp/debug.err Finally, I am afraid I don't have access to any IPv6 network, hence it won't be easy for me to investigate this issue. I hope that Ryan (the other co-maintainer of apt-listbugs) has access to some IPv6 network...
