I'm having troubles understanding and reproducing your issue. Are you using one of your shift as an alternative caps-lock? > For example, if I want to input the command 'ZZ' with caps lock > deactivated I would press the keys in the following order, > <Shift>zz > I would expect the command to register as 'ZZ'. However, the command > registers as, > <Shift>ZZ > so the command isn't recognized. Can you please post a `uzbl -p` of this combo? If you're doing <press-shift>z<release-shift>z, shouldn't it come out as the 'Zz' command? That is the behavior here... But I may be lacking some particular about your environment. > I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature, as using the command > 'request IGNORE_KEY <Shift>' solves the problem. > I'd suggest at least documenting this behaviour, if indeed it is the > intended one. Is this by the chance something similar to this report? http://lists.uzbl.org/pipermail/uzbl-dev-uzbl.org/2010-March/000811.html Cheers, Luca -- .''`. ** Debian GNU/Linux ** | Luca Bruno (kaeso) : :' : The Universal O.S. | lucab (AT) debian.org `. `'` | GPG Key ID: 3BFB9FB3 `- http://www.debian.org | Debian GNU/Linux Developer
