Hi Jon, I tried out your Debian package but found that the generated package didn't actually install anything, because debhelper was looking for a 'make install' target in bup, which didn't exist. I've now added a 'make install' in bup, so if you pull from my latest master on git://github.com/apenwarr/bup, the Debian package should work. Thanks for your work!
