Package: emacs
Version: 23.1+1-5
Severity: normal

Hi,

I've long formed the habit of middle-click on the scroll bar to
precisely place the scrollbar knob. I've been doing this for over 10
years in all X apps. This is taken from man xterm:

,-----
| Clicking button two moves the display to a position ... that
| corresponds to the pointer's position in the scrollbar.
`-----

However, the feature is broken after my recent emacs upgrade. Now
when I middle-click on the scroll bar, apart from the precisely
scrollbar reallocation, there is a side effect that the xclipboard
is paste into the editing area as well.

Really hope this bug can be fixed soon.

Thanks
