While I can see a reasoning for more detailed output of svn-*, I fail to see why someone would like to tag a new upstream version. Every upstream version is either in branches/upstream/$version or it's not in the repository at all if the user prefers the merge-upstream option. Having the same data in branches/upstream and in tags seems like quite some duplication to me... Hauke
