Mail_Mime pear module on version 1.6 and after supports attachment encoding using the deprecated RFC2047. This is expected for MS Outlook and Outlook Express, and for GMail (and maybe other online services too). Roundcube 0.3.1 already included on squeeze needs this feature to work properly when sending to those mail clients.
