I suspect that rebuilding it will make the problem disappear, and that
it's a glibc 2.3.5 NSS mismatch issue.  I think 4.2.5-11 was built
against 2.3.5, so if that or a hand-rebuilt version still segfault for
you, then a backtrace would be appreciated.
