Package: calibre Version: 0.5.13+dfsg-1 Severity: wishlist
I have a database created from Calibre Version 0.6.13 (the version currently in Karmic) that will not open in debian's current version (0.5.14). The problem is caused by the missing function sortconcat (http://bugs.calibre-ebook.com/ticket/2679). I would like to respectfully request a version bump of calibre for debian to keep it more closely aligned with ubuntu (Karmic: 0.6.13, Lucid: 0.6.43) and with upstream. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (650, 'testing'), (600, 'unstable') Architecture: armel (armv5tel) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-trunk-kirkwood Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages calibre depends on: ii calibre-bin 0.5.14+dfsg-1+b1 e-book converter and library manag ii hal 0.5.14-2 Hardware Abstraction Layer ii imagemagick 7:6.6.0.4-2 image manipulation programs ii python 2.5.4-9 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-beautifulsoup 3.1.0.1-2 error-tolerant HTML parser for Pyt ii python-central 0.6.14+nmu2 register and build utility for Pyt ii python-cherrypy 2.3.0-3 Python web development framework ii python-cssutils 0.9.5.1-2 CSS Cascading Style Sheets parser ii python-dateutil 1.4.1-3 powerful extensions to the standar ii python-dbus 0.83.1-1 simple interprocess messaging syst ii python-django-taggin 0.3.1-1 A generic tagging application for ii python-encutils 0.9.5.1-2 Encoding detection collection for ii python-imaging 1.1.7-1+b1 Python Imaging Library ii python-lxml 2.2.6-1 pythonic binding for the libxml2 a ii python-mechanize 0.1.11-1.1 stateful programmatic web browsing ii python-pkg-resources 0.6.10-1 Package Discovery and Resource Acc ii python-pypdf 1.12-2 PDF toolkit implemented solely in ii python-qt4 4.6-1 Python bindings for Qt4 ii ttf-liberation 1.05.2.20091019-4 Fonts with the same metrics as Tim ii xdg-utils 1.0.2+cvs20100307-1 desktop integration utilities from calibre recommends no packages. calibre suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
