It was the future until radeon included its own support for r500+ boards.
For some time, both had their advantages and drawbacks. But now KMS/DRI2
(and probably r800 support too) is only in radeon. And radeonhd gets pretty
much no development anymore.

I just updated the radeon NEWS file accordingly.

I think radeonhd should work a recent firmware and libdrm if KMS is
disabled. So this conflicts would be wrong.
