It's a known issue and I appreciate your concern, but I'm not going to change this exclusively in the installation guide. The installation guide currently simply follows the terminology used for in general for the project. If it needs to be changed, then it needs to be done (in a coordinated fashion) for the whole distribution and not just for a single document.
