After upgrading lxterminal from version 0.1.6-1 to 0.1.7-1, the window has become much slower to update. It's always visible when I change the size of the window by dragging one of its corner using the mouse. It takes about 1-2 seconds before the window is updated. There wasn't any such delay before. If I jump from one desktop to another using a keyboard shortcut (Cntrl-F1 bound to "Switch to workspace 1" by me) then the window often doesn't fully update at all. I see some parts of the previous desktop instead of the whole lxterminal (especially the upper window border). If I then resize the lxterminal window a little it updates fully. During the 1-2 seconds delay the whole screen is frozen with the old desktop. If I want to switch quickly as usual to this desktop, then I can keep the lxterminal window minimized. The delay problem regards to both the Gnome desktop and LXDE. It also appears with a fresh newly created user with default configuration. The "uncompleted window update" problem is more difficult to repeat and I have seen it only in Gnome. The problems disappear if I downgrade lxterminal to 0.1.6-1 and restart it. Also the nice new feature to be able to open an URL from lxterminal to a web browser disappears. That is maybe a clue. The gnome-terminal has had this delay problem for years and also this URL opening feature.
