I'm discovering lots of wrong meta data in files now too, things I saw previously had it wrong in the file, looking at the file externally always showed it correctly. Now I'm also seeing it in files instead. I assume that the previous version wrote it wrong in the files but somehow still displayed it properly. So this might be solved in 2.3, but I'm not completly sure yet. > - Sometimes it has no idea which track it's playing if you try to > ask meta data about it. This is still the case. And still seems to act even weirder. Like it can now show empty albums. Naming the artist / album the same doesn't merge the albums. > - Most of the cover art is used for different unrelated albums, > and I never seem to be able to fix this. This seems to work a little better. I can atleast set the cover art correct for each track, but it still seems to have a album cover that's comming from somewhere else. I have some albums called "Greatest Hits", and I think all the tracks have the proper cover, but all the albums show the same cover. Also, after having fixed the cover of an album with a unique name, it was still showing the old cover until I restarted amarok. Fetching the cover in "edit track details" also doesn't show you the cover in the dialog, but does show it in the collection when you close it and shows it if you edit again. In "edit track details" clicking show cover shows the cover, but the window is placed after the edit track details window so you think it didn't do anything.
