ok. though any vi clone I've seen at the minimum places the cursor where the text to be replaced is. it's not so much highlighting but rather the confirmation feature that is practically useless without some way to show what is being replaced. maybe it should be a wishlist item, but without this vim doesn't even work like vi. it seems like an oversight. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
