Thank you. I have confirmed your problem on my system with your materials. As you guess, the latest emacs-snapshot package has a ccl encoding/decoding bug similar to Emacs 23.1. Good news: Kenichi Handa (Emacs developer) has fixed this bug (in src/coding.c, will soon be published), so the future emacs-snapshot package will work fine. Thanks, -- Tatsuya Kinoshita
