Package: unicode-screensaver Version: 0.2-1 Severity: normal I have been running unicode-screensaver for some time, and I have seen some of the same characters (U+2128, for example) dozens of times. There are other characters that I have never seen.
Obviously, it is likely that some characters will, by random, rarely or never appear, whilst others will appear more frequently. Nevertheless, I see certain characters much more frequently than one would expect by chance. I expect a more appropriate distribution of characters, as if one were using a real random source. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages unicode-screensaver depends on: ii libc6 2.10.2-6 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libfontconfig1 2.8.0-2 generic font configuration library ii libx11-6 2:1.3.3-2 X11 client-side library ii libxft2 2.1.14-2 FreeType-based font drawing librar ii libxmu6 2:1.0.5-1 X11 miscellaneous utility library ii libxt6 1:1.0.7-1 X11 toolkit intrinsics library Versions of packages unicode-screensaver recommends: ii gnome-screensaver 2.28.3-1 GNOME screen saver and locker unicode-screensaver suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- brian m. carlson / brian with sandals: Houston, Texas, US +1 832 623 2791 | http://www.crustytoothpaste.net/~bmc | My opinion only OpenPGP: RSA v4 4096b: 88AC E9B2 9196 305B A994 7552 F1BA 225C 0223 B187
