Hi, In the new release of package that build 3.0.0RC1 version upstream, we have intention to build-depends on libmagickwand-dev instead of ibmagick9-dev. The build problem with the current sid version (2.1.1RC1) is very old, and the 3.0.0RC1 builds fine with olds imagemagick libraries.
No build problem seen after upgrading libmagickcore-dev, libmagickcore3, libmagickcore3-extra, libmagickwand-dev, libmagickwand3 for now. I hope the new release for php-imagick will be uploading at most in the end of this month. Thanks for notify us to check the build with recent imagemagick libraries ! -- Guillaume Delacour
