Because I create the package of duply for use in testing=squeeze and sid I must use up to date packages of duplicity. (Duplicity 0.4.11 was released in May 2008). If I define a more loosen dependeny as you want it could be there are some incompatiblities which we don't see now. On the other side I can hope that popularity of older duplicity versions will decline in a short time. So I will set the older version as dependency. Fondest regards, Joachim Wiedorn
