Yes, I already did that (Conflicts: python-apt (< 0.7.94~)). The point is until the new python-apt is built everywhere, installing the new version of python-debian will remove python-apt on all architectures but amd64. I'd rather wait and avoid that transition issue. I've also got one more patch I'm waiting for team review on, which would close #573009 and #562257.
