Hi, I just thought I'd check and re-install the old deb package of mouseemu_0.15-8_powerpc.deb I had lying around in /var/cache/apt/archives/.
This version had a timestamp of 2007-05-30, and it too produces this problem. Would the EV_SYN theory account for this? In any case if someone could let me know if the above is the correct way to apply a dpatch that would be great. At the moment I cannot be sure if I may have just done something stupid, as Solra said above the dpatch fixes it.
