Package: openvpn Version: 2.1.0-1 Severity: minor -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1
Hi, my syslog is quite full of these entries: NOTE: OpenVPN 2.1 requires '--script-security 2' or higher to call user-defined scripts or executables My config does not specify any scripts, so I am fine with the default script security. Alos, my config has multiple <connection> entries, and the log message is printed each time one of these is tried, which is just too much log spam. (I assume that people with only one connection setting see the note only once, and thus don’t worry about this.) I suggest to remove the note when no user-defined scripts are defined in the config file.
