Package: angband
Version: 1:3.1.1.1626-1
Severity: normal

When I try to start the game from an xterm with no switches a window loads with
the message:

"Error (Unreadable savefile (too old?)) reading 3.0.10 savefile ."

and then fails to load.

I've looked all over my home directory for the old savefile and can't find it.

If I start a new character with 'angband -uBob' or whatever it works fine. I
just can't start
it with the unadorned 'angband' command.

At the very least I think there should be some mention in README.debian of how
to nuke your old savefile.
