Hi, Thanks for your bug report.
I have checked libaudio-mpd-perl and a few of its dependencies, but none of these seem to depend on Class::Accessor. I rebuilt libaudio-mpd-perl (and, under the implicit assumption that most modules would be pulled in during building/testing as they would during normal use), it looks like there are only the following dependencies: Setting up libalgorithm-c3-perl (0.08-1) ... Setting up libsub-name-perl (0.04-1) ... Setting up libscope-guard-perl (0.03-2) ... Setting up libsub-install-perl (0.924-2) ... Setting up libparams-util-perl (1.00-1) ... Setting up libdata-optlist-perl (0.104-1) ... Setting up libsub-exporter-perl (0.981-1) ... Setting up libdevel-globaldestruction-perl (0.02-1) ... Setting up libclass-c3-perl (0.22-1) ... Setting up liblist-moreutils-perl (0.25~02-1) ... Setting up libmoose-perl (0.98-1) ... Setting up libvariable-magic-perl (0.40-1) ... Setting up libb-hooks-endofscope-perl (0.08-1) ... Setting up libsub-identify-perl (0.04-1) ... Setting up libnamespace-clean-perl (0.12-1) ... Setting up libnamespace-autoclean-perl (0.09-1) ... Setting up libcarp-clan-perl (6.02-1) ... Setting up libmoosex-types-perl (0.21-1) ... Setting up libperl6-junction-perl (1.40000-1) ... Setting up libautobox-perl (2.55-1) ... Setting up libmoose-autobox-perl (0.10-1) ... Setting up libmoosex-has-sugar-perl (0.0405-1) ... Setting up libreadonly-perl (1.03-2) ... Setting up libaudio-mpd-common-perl (1.100430-1) ... Setting up libclass-inspector-perl (1.24-1) ... Setting up libdevel-symdump-perl (2.08-2) ... Setting up libextutils-parsexs-perl (2.220300-1) ... Setting up libfile-sharedir-perl (1.00-0.1) ... Setting up libio-string-perl (1.08-2) ... Setting up libio-stringy-perl (2.110-4) ... Setting up libmixin-linewise-perl (0.003-1) ... Setting up libyaml-perl (0.71-1) ... Setting up libmodule-build-perl (0.360300-1) ... Setting up libtest-cpan-meta-perl (0.16-1) ... Setting up libtest-pod-coverage-perl (1.08-3) ... Setting up libtest-pod-perl (1.41-1) ... ... so it appears (from where I sit) that this particular bug doesn't affect this package. If you have any better ideas as to how to track down the unneeded Class::Accessor dependency, I would love to investigate this issue further. For reference, the libaudio-mpd-perl dependency list is as follows: Depends: ${perl:Depends}, ${misc:Depends}, libaudio-mpd-common-perl, libmoose-perl, libmoosex-has-sugar-perl, libmoosex-semiaffordanceaccessor-perl And libaudio-mpd-common-perl: Depends: ${misc:Depends}, ${perl:Depends}, libmoose-perl (>= 0.92), libmoosex-has-sugar-perl, libmoosex-types-perl, libreadonly-perl I will ask around the group, but if nobody can reproduce this issue, I have no other choice but to mark this as unreproducible/wontfix. Note that the versions of dependencies I looked at (above) were from the latest version of the package, from unstable - 1.100430-1 - which is the version you appear to have as well.
