Hi, I tested all of the examples that come with 2.08, and found all of them but 2 or so segfault for various reasons, or fail because of a weird error with the plugin (InstallOptions is one). Therefore, I am leaving this bug as grave. You can read about this on the upstream forums here:

It is reasonable to assume that upstream System.dll would be compatible with the debian package though. > I compiled FileFunc.nsi/LogicLib.nsi with every setting zlib/lzma/bzip2 > w/ and w/o solid. But the GPF occurs on all exes. Yes, plugins seem to be horribly broken on POSIX with this scons build system. I suppose just keep using 2.06 for now, hopefully we can get a meaningful bugreport to send upstream somehow. > In the LogicLib.nsi, I think there is a problem with SectionIsSelected. > > ---------------------------------------------------------- > Function ComponentsLeave > ; Section flags tests (requires sections.nsh be included) > ${Unless} ${SectionIsSelected} ${TESTS} > MessageBox MB_OK "Please select the component" > Abort > ${EndIf} > FunctionEnd > ---------------------------------------------------------- > > Maybe you can get some better results. I'm not sure I see the problem here. BTW, thanks for helping make the nsis package better, I really appreciate your efforts. If you ever want to co-maintain it with me, I'd be more than happy to do this with you. -- bye, pabs http://qa.debian.org/developer.php?login=Paul+Wise&comaint=yes
