Package: dkms Version: 2.1.1.1-1 Severity: normal When upgrading sys-rc reports that there are some obsolete files left in /etc/init.d, which one is dkms_autoinstaller. All other was removed when those removed packages was purged.
But dkms was not removed (and I don't want to do that either). I search for the file, and saw it was marked obsoleted (source: Debian Wiki: http://wiki.debian.org/LSBInitScripts/DependencyBasedBoot) $ sudo dpkg-query -W -f='${Conffiles}\n' dkms (removed some non relevant lines) /etc/init.d/dkms_autoinstaller 31755b8b4f52ede7f50a90ca2e15340b obsolete $ After removing the file manually, 'sudo dpkg-reconfigure sysv-rc' worked. Anyway, thanks for all the work on Debian. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.30-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=sv_SE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=sv_SE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages dkms depends on: ii build-essential 11.4 Informational list of build-essent ii dpkg-dev 1.15.5.6 Debian package development tools ii gcc 4:4.4.2-3 The GNU C compiler ii make 3.81-7 An utility for Directing compilati ii module-init-tools 3.12~pre1-1 tools for managing Linux kernel mo Versions of packages dkms recommends: ii fakeroot 1.14.4-1 Gives a fake root environment ii linux-headers-2.6-amd64 2.6.32+23 Header files for Linux 2.6-amd64 ii linux-headers-2.6.32-tr 2.6.32-5 Header files for Linux 2.6.32-trun ii linux-image-2.6.30-2-am 2.6.30-8squeeze1 Linux 2.6.30 image on AMD64 ii lsb-release 3.2-23 Linux Standard Base version report ii menu 2.1.43 generates programs menu for all me ii patch 2.6-2 Apply a diff file to an original ii sudo 1.7.2p1-1 Provide limited super user privile dkms suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
