Package: whiptail Version: 0.52.10-5+b1 Severity: normal i'm also seeing the weird garbage in buttons in whiptail dialogs with libfribidi0 0.19.2-1. If the data there is potentially random, it could at some point emit terminal control characters, which would be a particularly nasty surprise in a root terminal (e.g. during a debconf-generate prompt).
