I believe this is due to the fact that you have installed both automake (which is version 1.11 in testing) and automake1.10. I don't think it is worth discussing if this is not a bug, a bug in conky or in the debian automake packages, the new package (which I hope to be able to upload soon) will use automake 1.11 anyhow.
