I'm getting the same problem in SID for somes days. I'm affected with fluxbox and I use an .xinitrc The cursor is invisible (but active, "mouseovers" show that). If I launch rxvt-unicode and set it in fullscreen then the cursor comes visible (and then stays in this state). Other applications I tried with doesn't give the same effect.
