Package: ipopd Version: 7:2002edebian1-11 The post-install script by default generates a self-signed ssl certificate, which is great, but it expires after a year, causing some mail clients to begin warning. This sudden change makes for a poor user experience for both clients and the administrators who support them.
Suggested remedies: Warn about this behaviour at install time and allow the user to choose a longer period. Add a job to cron.monthly to generate a new certificate if the current one will expire in the next month, making a backup and notifying root of course, and ideally only doing this if it's not user-modified. -r -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
