I have the same problem here, the error message is:
WARNING: Current functionality level = 4, recommended = 5
From what I read in the clamav FAQ http://www.clamav.net/faq.html
What does WARNING: Current functionality level = 1, required = 2 mean?
The functionality level of the database determines which scanner
engine version is required to use all of its signatures. If you don't
upgrade immediately you will be missing the latest viruses.
This problem doesn't render the package unuseable but make it unable to
catch with last virus which is a big problem for an antivirus software.
I read elsewhere the solution is to use volatile repository, is that true ?
