Yes, this sucks, but it is a global problem in Debian tk packaging. See http://bugs.debian.org/503113 for why the trivial debian/control fix would be problematic. Workaround: ‘update-alternatives --config wish’ or install a symlink ~/bin/wish -> /usr/bin/wish8.6. I sent some more thoughts as a follow-up to #516178. I hope that at least we end up with something more recent than wish8.4 as the default wish for squeeze.
